Another Year’s Gone By

Merry Christmas!  Happy Hanukkah!  Joyous Boxing Day!  Greetings for the Winter Solstice!  Happy New Year!  Happy Holidays!  Yes, it’s okay for us to use any of these good wishes during the season.  It’s the genuine wish that’s important.  So when I bid you Happy Holidays, or when it says that on our December mailing, I mean it sincerely, regardless of what day(s) you choose to make special.

2012 is nearly over.  Time seems to have slowed this year.  There were a few weeks back in March that felt like an entire season.  And now winter has come early and we are bundling up for December and the long winter’s night.  We hope that you are well and that you will enjoy this month and this season.  Here are some photos and stories of our year.

I started this blog when we moved to Shenyang, China in 2010. Since coming back to the US in 2015, my writing has been less consistent. Trying to find a voice here...
