Gu bao rou

What a beautiful thing to find in China – sweet and sour pork so perfect and crispy! I doubt I’ll ever eat this in the US again. Thin slices of pork cooked in a perfect (hopefully) batter to make it crispy, with just drizzles of the sauce and ginger/spring onion shavings on top. And a few sesame seeds.
