This pit is the beginning of the 110 story Baoneng Building, which will house the W Hotel or the Ritz Carlton, depending on which rumor you listen to. We were told that the pit was more than 20 stories below street level. I count 10 cranes and there are probably thousands of workers. It is bigger than most can imagine.
